A UCB Doc3 student awarded for electricity and gas production Date 14/07/2022 Comments 0 comment Amada Alingilya Grâce, a third-year doctoral student at the Faculty of Medicine and an active member of several clubs at the Catholic University of Bukavu, won “Miss Entreprenante et Indépendante Sud-Kivu” prize for her project based on the production of electricity and gas from biodegradable waste. This honorary prize was awarded by the Provincial Government through Regroupement des Jeunes Femmes pour la Promotion de l’Entrepreneuriat, one of its structures that awards original projects of young women in the entrepreneurial field. Ms. Amada is passionate about chemistry and physics. Everything that concerns the transformation and study of atoms has always captivated her attention. This explains her commitment to the environmental cause. She is motivated by her dream of independence. This ambitious student has always wanted to fly on her own, to innovate and to get out of the ordinary in order to bring something more to the community. This is why she launched Bioget sarl, a company specialized in the production of electricity and gas from biodegradable waste. Currently, Bioget sarl consists of a team of six people. In five years, she plans to acquire a large space and expand her team. This young future doctor is convinced that health and the environment are two fields that go hand in hand. For her, working for the protection of the environment is working for the promotion of health. In her spare time, Miss Amada loves to sing and dance.
