Medicine: an interfaculty cooperation agreement signed between UCB and UCLouvain. Date 04/06/2024 A Belgian delegation led by Professor Françoise SMETS, newly elected Rector of Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), visited Université Catholique de Bukavu (UCB) on Monday June 3, 2024 at Bugabo Campus to sign an interfaculty cooperation agreement in the field of Medicine. With the aim of promoting clinical training and scientific research, this cooperation agreement was signed between the Faculties of Medicine of the two partner universities, UCB and UCLouvain, in order to continue and intensify the scientific and technical exchanges that have existed between them for over two decades. This cooperation aims to promote the teaching of medical courses, the training of specialist and paramedical clinicians in the various fields of medicine, collaboration in scientific research, specialization in medicine and doctoral research. Activities under this agreement will be coordinated by Professor Guy MULINGANYA on behalf of Université Catholique de Bukavu and Hôpital Provincial Général de Référence de Bukavu.
