The Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism launches a magazine for students Date 09/08/2022 Comments 0 comment Work of the students of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Catholic University of Bukavu, the magazine of architecture CROQUIS was presented to the public during a scientific activity steered by the Dean of the Faculty which took place on Saturday, August 6 in the Centre of Excellence at Bugabo Campus. “Croquis” will contain student works of all classes. This initiative aims at promoting constructions that meet the architectural and urbanistic standards. To this end, student works including models and graphic presentations will be published. The Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism was launched at the opening of the 2017-2018 academic year with a first year of preparatory studies. Its objective is to integrate the concrete field realities into architecture courses and workshops and to bring the architectural approach to meet fundamental societal issues in terms of quality of living environment. The Faculty allows students to train not only in the best possible conditions and with qualified personnel, but also to contribute to the improvement of their living environment by providing solutions to problems that affect the entire population.
