The Catholic University of Bukavu (UCB), as part of its strategy to diversify its university cooperation and with a view to academic succession, signed in January 2020 a collaboration framework agreement with Jiangsu University for the implementation of the Belt and Road Collaborative Doctorate Program for Faculty Members.

Jiangsu University is a Chinese university located in the tourist city of Zhenjiang in Jiangsu Province. It is ranked 85th university in terms of education, research and innovation in the People’s Republic of China and 401st in the world by 2019 World University Ranking of Shanghai
