In spite of her academic prowess and her outstanding intelligence, this student is still in constant pursuit of excellence. Her actions, her stances, her interventions suggest that she is not only a future scientist with great ambitions, but also a citizen concerned with the issue of change within her community. Here is an interview that will allow you to discover the best student of the Catholic University of Bukavu for the academic year 2020-2021. Who are you? My name is IGEGA MULEMANGABO Divine, daughter of MULEMANGABO SINTARUBA Juvénal and BUHENDWA NTAKWINJA Anny. I was born on August 5, 2002 in Kinshasa. I arrived in Bukavu, in the province of South Kivu, following a professional transfer of my parents in 2007. I did my kindergarten studies at Mama Aurora custodian school in Lestonnac, my primary studies at EP 3/Alfajiri where I obtained a certificate of completion of primary studies of 84%, then obtained my state diploma of 78% at the College Alfajiri, in scientific section option chemistry-biology edition 2020-2021. I am currently a student at the Catholic University of Bukavu, U.C.B. in acronym, where I am already in my second year of graduation in the faculty of agronomic sciences. Igega Mulemangabo Divine Tell us about your planning A good organization is one of the important factors in the success of anything. If some people today stand out from others, it is because they always put order in everything they do, while combining the useful with the pleasant. For me, the distractions are to be reviewed during breaks with the principle of never going to class without having a brief overview of the previous material taught to the audience. I don’t limit myself only to what is taught by the teacher, I take the time to document and exchange with my classmates; this gives me a taste for the subject and makes it easy, clear and manipulable. What are your strategies for successfully completing your course of study? I plan to work hard and work as hard as I can for the best possible success, God willing of course, in order to achieve what I have always aspired to. I have been attracted to this faculty and it is this attraction that will guide me to the end of my academic career, as it motivates me in my ambition to become a soil expert. What are your future prospects? It is to honor those who made me what I am today, that is to honor my family, especially my parents for their efforts in my education, my Alma Mater (Alfajiri College), my University (UCB) and my whole country. I would like to make myself proud by excelling in everything I do as well as everyone around me, and I will not give up until this is achieved. What is your message to other students? First of all, love what you do, because if you love something; you do everything to make it happen. Don’t do things half-heartedly or lightly, strive for excellence in everything. Every person has a great potential hidden in him, intellectual or not, everything depends on the chosen horizon. Given that man is never complete, he always resorts to the expertise of others, and this is what allows him to excel in his path, hence; humility and simplicity. What final words do you have to conclude? A big thank you to all those who motivate me, starting with my parents who give themselves body and soul to make everything better, my dear teachers, my fellow students and all my entourage who never stop believing in me and who are always there to encourage me. I also thank God for all that He continues to do for me.
