The Catholic University of Bukavu held the installation ceremony of the new Student College on Tuesday, March 30 at Bugabo campus. The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs represented the University at this activity.

During this ceremony, the academic authority took the opportunity to remind the Student Representative of his role as a relay between the students and all the university bodies. He also praised the involvement of the academic community in the activities of the institution at all levels of responsibility.

In his speech, the new Student Representative, NAMEGABE MUCHANGA Le Roi-André affirmed his commitment to efficiently serve his peers. He received from his predecessor, MITIMA BISIMWA Lucien, the keys to the student college office where he will now work. The former Student Representative has awarded certificates of merit to members of his cabinet as a sign of recognition for the quality work done during his tenure.

As a reminder, the student NAMEGABE MUCHANGA Le Roi-André was elected by his student peers on March 18, 2021.
