In collaboration with “Institut Français”, the Catholic University of Bukavu (UCB) organizes on every last Wednesday of the month a debate called “Les mercredis de l’UCB” (“Wednesdays of UCB “).

This partnership is part of the University mission to serve the community. Its aim is to eradicate the gap that exists in the communication of knowledge between the academic sector and other areas of discourse in the society, and to popularize scientific notions which remain unchecked by the population but which are yet of general interest. This space makes it possible to wonder, to present the content of the subjects in a clear language and to generate a debate for a better tomorrow. In addition to scientific themes, it covers cultural and linguistic aspects, all this to create an interaction with all categories of the population.
